WEBCO INDUSTRIES, INC. ANNOUNCES DANA S. WEBER APPOINTMENT
SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma, March 5, 2018 – Webco Industries, Inc. announced today that Dana S. Weber, President and Chief Executive Officer, was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Oklahoma City Branch Board of Directors. Ms. Weber will serve a three-year term, ending December 31st, 2020.
As the regional headquarters of the nation’s central bank, the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and its branches in Denver, Oklahoma City and Omaha serve the seven states of the Tenth Federal Reserve District: Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Wyoming, northern New Mexico and western Missouri.
Ms. Weber, who also serves as the Vice-Chairman of Webco’s Board of Directors, stated “It is an honor to have the opportunity to serve on the Oklahoma City Branch Board. In the past two months, I have learned a tremendous amount about the history, complex structure, and numerous functions of the federal reserve system. The quality of the talent and leadership at the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank and its branches is impressive. Sound business principles are being utilized to continuously adapt to their dynamic environment. It is heartwarming to see true public servants, clearly dedicated to effectively serving the people of their district and the citizens of America. It is truly an honor to be a part of this team.” Ms. Weber graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1979 and with a Juris Doctorate in 1983. Ms. Weber is also a 1986 graduate of the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development.
