WEBCO INDUSTRIES, INC. ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF DAVID E. BOYER TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS; DANA S. WEBER TO CHAIRWOMAN

SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma, October 10, 2018 – Webco Industries, Inc. (OTC: WEBC). Today, Webco Industries, Inc. announced the appointment of David E. Boyer to the Company’s Board of Directors. The Board appointed Mr. Boyer to fulfill the unexpired Board term of the Late F. William Weber. Mr. Boyer’s appointment will extend through February 2021, or until his successor is elected. The Board also appointed Webco’s President and CEO, Dana S. Weber, to Chairwoman of Webco’s Board of Directors and Mr. Boyer to be Vice-Chairman.

Mr. Boyer has been Webco’s Chief Operating Officer since March 2011. He is also the Senior Vice President of Tubing Operations, a position he has held since May 2001. Mr. Boyer has previously served as our Vice-President of Sales and Marketing; General Manager of our Stainless Division and a Product Manager. Mr. Boyer has been with Webco for 34 years, having joined the Company in 1984.

Mr. Boyer graduated from Millikin University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Mr. Boyer received a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1984 and is also a Fall 1998 graduate of the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development.
