Webco has developed specialized coiled tubing manufacturing capabilities for the production of high quality laser seam-welded duplex, nickel alloy, and stainless steel coiled tubing for the upstream oil & gas marketplace. Our products are used for surface-controlled subsea safety valve control line tubing, chemical injection, hi-strength capillary tubing, work-over / velocity strings, & encapsulated conductor.

UMBILICAL TUBING: Webco manufactures LaserLine® SD hi-strength super duplex coiled tubing for the steel tube umbilical (STU) market with a SMYS of 95KSI (655MPa). Available in the most common metric bore sizes of 12.7, 19.05, & 25.4 in 10KSI & 15KSI DWP ratings. Others available.
Umbilical Tubing Production Highlights:
STU tubing is qualified & manufactured per customer specifications and a project-specific PITP (Production, Inspection & Testing Plan) and to API17E / ISO 13628-5.
Strip splice welds and orbital welds are utilized for coil build-up. Digital radiography is used to verify weld integrity.
State-of-the-art eddy current and ultrasonic testing is utilized for full body continuous inspection and wall thickness verification.
In-house metallurgical laboratory for conducting qualification & in-process testing.
In-process & FAT hydro-testing capability up to 30KSI (207MPa)
Coil lengths are provided on customer supplied metal reels up to 20 tonnes.
Complete genealogical documentation and material test reports and data books per order and reel.
